There are many challenges that face today’s engineers and whilst considering what we thought was the biggest, a common theme kept re-appearing: sustainability.
The Problem
There is an increasing population and increasing carbon emissions, but there are decreasing amounts of space and raw resources such as fossil fuels.
The SolutionA second catalyctic converter diectly attached to the engine of cars which would convert carbon dioxide to fuel.

Our Aim
Whilst working on renewable and cleaner sources of energy is important, we also felt that tackling the sources of carbon emission and minimising its impact on the environment now is just as important. e are passionate about taking on the challenge of slowing down the increase in carbon emissions, one major contributer to this are cars which, according to scientific research, increase global warming by approximately 50 percent. Not only do we want to reduce this figure, but we would like to contribute an idea which could easily be implemented into cars in the future.
